20世紀前半に活動した、イギリスの作家や哲学者たちのグループ"ブルームズベリー・セット"の集まる場であり、その一員で画家のダンカン・グラントとヴァネッサ・ベルの住まい・スタジオでもあった、英・イーストサセックスに位置するチャールストンファームハウスにて、2021年9月に撮影。レンジファインダーカメラを使って多重露光で撮影された作品です◎
'These photographs were made in September 2021 at Charleston Farmhouse in Sussex, amongst the painted surfaces of English radicals Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant. I wanted to inhabit the original spirit of the place; not to see it as an antique, but how I imagine it was lived; unconforming, fluid, layered, animate. All the images are a product of in-camera multiple exposures, photographed with a rangefinder camera on Kodak Portra film.' (Lewis Ronald)
