SEASCAPE - polyptych
Format: LP+DL
Label: Faitiche
Cat No: fait-31LP
A collaborative work between Berlin music artist Jan Jelinek and Canadian media artist Clive Holden. Abstract and mysterious loop/sampling music created by twisting the voice of Captain Ahab, played by Gregory Peck, in the 1956 movie "Moby Dick" using a synth granular system. It's an ominous soundscape that perfectly matches the looping video by Clive Holden, giving you the feeling of drowning in water. Mastering was done by Rashad Becker◎
