Erik K. Skodvin, a Berlin-based musician known for his work with Otto A. Totland as Deaf Center and under the name Svarte Greiner, released this work in 2020 on his own label, <Miasmah Recordings> . This work was created by Mo Scarpelli, a film director who primarily works on non-fiction works, as the soundtrack for the documentary film "Anbessa", which is set in Ethiopia and focuses on Asalif, a 10-year-old boy. A drone/ambient piece that develops a serious and eerie indigenous soundscape. The B-side includes field recordings and locked groove tracks recorded around Asalif's home.
