Portland-based ambient folk artist David Allred has returned to the Belgian comfort label <Dauw> . Utilizing felt piano, strings, guitar, synth, tape machine, etc., the soundscape is wonderful and has a peaceful and reassuring feel. The gentle oscillation that resembles an analog delay echo is also pleasant, and it enters a fantastical world without going too far. A work that firmly captures the delicate atmosphere such as the sound of musical instruments ◎
