“It was April 6th, 2019, in my home studio. Having concluded an exhibition in Sapporo, I had begun an experiment to explore new creative directions. My daily practice involved drawing one page per day in an A5-sized notebook, using markers readily available to me. I clearly remember the mixture of doubt and curiosity after completing the first page. Without much fanfare, the practice began quite casually.”
